Microdermabrasion at Miramont

Microdermabrasion has been used for decades as a reliable tool to refresh the skin. There is no downtime after this procedure; your skin may have a rosy glow or have mild flaking afterwards. We use a diamond-tip device that sucks up the dead surface skin cells as it glides across your face, leaving your skin soft and smooth. Microdermabrasion can also be performed on other areas of the body, including the neck, chest, décolleté, and hands. 

What to expect at your microdermabrasion appointment:

1. We will start by gently cleaning your skin to remove excess makeup, oil, and impurities.

2. Next, we do 2-3 passes on the skin using the large and small diamond tips. If a patient is particularly dry or flaky, we can apply a cooling gel hydrating mask for 10-15 minutes to soothe and hydrate the skin.

3. After the microdermabrasion, we apply medical-grade skincare products to soothe, protect, and strengthen your skin. Some of our favorite products to apply after a microdermabrasion are Image Vital C Hydrating Antioxidant A C E Serum, followed by Image Vital C Hydrating Intense Moisturizer, and finishing with our IMAGE Advanced Smartblend Mineral Moisturizer, a tinted sunscreen with SPF 75.
